  7. As a NewIcons user, I found that there were one or two programs
  8. or drawers that I hadn't got a special icon for, so I decided to
  9. create my own :-)

  11. Thinking they might be useful to others, I put them in this
  12. archive. I hope you like them and find them useful. Please feel
  13. free to let me know if you hate them.

  20. The NewIcons Package is a revolutionary GUI enhancement system
  21. for the Amiga computer. It adds many new features to the
  22. Workbench that, we hope, will be standard in the next generation
  23. Amiga operating system. Specifically, it allows for a palette
  24. independent icon system whereby icons look color correct on any
  25. system, no matter what your Workbench palette is set to. It
  26. allows you to use icons in up to 256 colors, adds default icons
  27. for many, many file types, and works on any Amiga with OS2.04 and
  28. up.
